I'm pulling the budget in tighter than ever. I really want to get rid of all our credit card debt. I wont discolse how much it is but lets say its more than most families have, much more :(
So my budget meals this week are going to be:
fried rice with honesy soy wings
lentil/chickpea curry
chicken burgers
sausages in rolls
chow mein
baked beans and tinned spag and eggs on toast
quiche
omelettes
home made pasta and tomato based sauce.
Thank goodness for our chooks. Means we have loads more egg recipes to do.
As of today all 7 chooks are now laying so we get 7 eggs most days now, or will do.

I wish you all the best with your budget.
The menu sounds nice.
I don't think I spend a lot on meals. I post my menus too. The next two are not extravagant I think.
I too am trying to get rid of my credit card debt. My family and I have all made a pact to eat real food and cut back on bought processed/junk food. The savings from that alone can go on my credit card. Good luck with your budget.
I must say, your weekly menu sounds nice.
if it wasn't for chooks and home-grown veges when I was growing up ( plus the home-shot rabbit or home-caught fish ), I don't think we would have survived.
I'm a bit funny on rabbit and fish these days though, although plenty of veges and eggs still grace the table.
Good luck, it's hellish to knuckle down, and i'm fearful my time is nigh..
